           "Well,mydear,"saidMr.Bennet,whenElizabethhadreadthenotealoud,"ifyourdaughtershouldhaveadangerousfitofillnessifsheshoulddie,itwouldbeacomforttoknowthatitwasallinpursuitofMr.Bingley,andunderyourorders." 

           "Oh!Iamnotafraidofherdying. Peopledonotdieoflittletriflingcolds. Shewillbetakengoodcareof. Aslongasshestaysthere,itisallverywell. IwouldgoanseeherifIcouldhavethecarriage." 

           Elizabeth,feelingreallyanxious,wasdeterminedtogotoher,thoughthecarriagewasnottobehad; andasshewasnohorsewoman,walkingwasheronlyalternative. Shedeclaredherresolution. 

           "Howcanyoubesosilly,"criedhermother,"astothinkofsuchathing,inallthisdirt! Youwillnotbefittobeseenwhenyougetthere." 

           "IshallbeveryfittoseeJanewhichisallIwant."
