           TheConfederatesmarchedintheirsleep,tootiredtothinkforthemostpart.Butwhentheydidthink,theytrustedoldJoe.Theyknewtheywereretreatingbuttheyknewtheyhadnotbeenbeaten.Theyjustdidn’thaveenoughmentoholdtheirentrenchmentsanddefeatSherman’sflankingmovements,too.TheycouldanddidlicktheYankeeseverytimetheYankeeswouldstandandfight.
