SoshehuntedinherpocketandfoundtheletterOzmahadgivenher.Thenshehandeditthroughthebarstotherabbit,whotookitinhispawsandopenedit.Hereaditaloudinapompousvoice,asiftoletDorothyandBillinaseethathewaseducatedandcouldreadwriting.Theletterwasasfollows:
