           Onemorningatbreakfast,Diana,afterlookingalittlepensiveforsomeminutes,askedhim,"Ifhisplanswereyetunchanged." 

           "Unchangedandunchangeable,"wasthereply. AndheproceededtoinformusthathisdeparturefromEnglandwasnowdefinitivelyfixedfortheensuingyear.
