Aclockintheschoolroomstrucknine;MissMillerlefthercircle,andstandinginthemiddleoftheroom,cried—
"Silence!Toyourseats!"
Disciplineprevailed:infiveminutestheconfusedthrongwasresolvedintoorder,andcomparativesilencequelledtheBabelclamouroftongues.
