Takeoneday;shareitintosections;toeachsectionapportionitstask:leavenostrayunemployedquartersofanhour,tenminutes,fiveminutes—includeall;doeachpieceofbusinessinitsturnwithmethod,withrigidregularity. Thedaywillclosealmostbeforeyouareawareithasbegun;andyouareindebtedtonooneforhelpingyoutogetridofonevacantmoment:youhavehadtoseeknoone’scompany,conversation,sympathy,forbearance;youhavelived,inshort,asanindependentbeingoughttodo.
