Adeleranquitewildinthemidstofit:thepreparationsforcompanyandtheprospectoftheirarrival,seemedtothrowherintoecstasies. ShewouldhaveSophietolookoverallher"toilettes,"asshecalledfrocks;tofurbishupanythatwere"passees,"andtoairandarrangethenew. Forherself,shedidnothingbutcaperaboutinthefrontchambers,jumponandoffthebedsteads,andlieonthemattressesandpiled-upbolstersandpillowsbeforetheenormousfiresroaringinthechimneys.
