           YoungRenauldremainedsilent,hisboyishfacesullenandovercast.Butanothervoicespoke,imperturbableandcalm,thevoiceofHerculePoirot.

           “Iwillinformyou,ifyoulike,M.lejuge.”

           “Youknow?”

           “CertainlyIknow.ThesubjectofthequarrelwasMademoiselleMartheDaubreuil.”
