           "Yes,sir,"murmuredthewoman,lookingslightlydazed. Inaminuteshehadreturned. Amusicaltinklingenteredtheroomwithherassheadvancedwonderinglytowardthebed. Itcamefromtheprismpendantsencirclingtheold-fashionedcandelabruminherhand.

           AsshelefttheroomheturnedsmilingeyestowardthewonderingPollyanna.
