           Sotheylayhiddenalongtime,untilthesunstoodhighinthesky.Thedaywaswarmandthedustyroadwasbareoftravelers,exceptanagedpalmerwhowalkedslowlyalongthehighroadthatledclosebesidethegraycastlewallofNottinghamTown.WhenRobinsawthatnootherwayfarerwaswithinsight,hecalledyoungDavidofDoncaster,whowasashrewdmanforhisyears,andsaidtohim,"Nowgettheeforth,youngDavid,andspeaktoyonderpalmerthatwalksbesidethetownwall,forhehathcomebutnowfromNottinghamTown,andmaytelltheenewsofgoodStutely,perchance."
