Thetribehadkepthiswomen.Hemustfindotherstoreplacethem.Thishairlesswhiteapewouldbethefirstofhisnewhousehold,andsohethrewherroughlyacrosshisbroad,hairyshouldersandleapedbackintothetrees,bearingJaneaway.
Esmeralda’sscreamofterrorhadmingledoncewiththatofJane,andthen,aswasEsmeralda’smannerunderstressofemergencywhichrequiredpresenceofmind,sheswooned.
