           Though,then,theDuncanwouldkeepfarawayfromsuchacoast,JohnManglesisaprudentcaptaintogetnear.TomAustin,however,wasoftheopinionthatshewouldbeabletokeepfivemilesout.

           TheMajoradvisedhisimpatientrelativetorestrainhimselftocircumstances.
