Theclamorofmanyvoicessoonannouncedthatapartyapproached,whomightbeexpectedtocommunicatesomeintelligencethatwouldexplainthemysteryofthenovelsurprise.Thecrowdwithoutgaveway,andseveralwarriorsenteredtheplace,bringingwiththemthehaplessconjurer,whohadbeenleftsolongbythescoutinduress.
