           “Iwon’tcry.It’ssilly—andweak—there’sthethirdtearsplashingdownbymynose.Therearemorecoming!Imustthinkofsomethingfunnytostopthem.Butthere’snothingfunnyexceptwhatisconnectedwithAvonlea,andthatonlymakesthingsworse—four—five—I’mgoinghomenextFriday,butthatseemsahundredyearsaway.
