Dorothyawokejustasthelightwasbeginningtogetstrongnextmorning,andnotcaringtosleepanylatershequietlygotoutofbed,dressedherself,andleftthetentwhereAuntEmwasyetpeacefullyslumbering.
OutsideshenoticedBillinabusilypeckingaroundtosecurebugsorotherfoodforbreakfast,butnoneofthemenintheothertentseemedawake.Sothelittlegirldecidedtotakeawalkinthewoodsandtrytodiscoversomepathorroadthattheymightfollowwhentheyagainstartedupontheirjourney.
