BiniAru,havingdiscoveredthesecretofinstanttransformation,whichrequirednotoolsorpowdersorotherchemicalsorherbsandalwaysworkedperfectly,wasreluctanttohavesuchawonderfuldiscoveryentirelyunknownorlosttoallhumanknowledge.Hedecidednottouseitagain,sinceOzmahadforbiddenhimtodoso,buthereflectedthatOzmawasagirlandsometimemightchangehermindandallowhersubjectstopracticemagic,inwhichcaseBiniArucouldagaintransformhimselfandothersatwill,—unless,ofcourse,heforgothowtopronouncePyrzqxglinthemeantime.
Aftergivingthemattercarefulthought,hedecidedtowritetheword,andhowitshouldbepronounced,insomesecretplace,sothathecouldfinditaftermanyyears,butwherenooneelsecouldeverfindit.
Thatwasacleveridea,butwhatbotheredtheoldSorcererwastofindasecretplace.HewanderedallovertheSauceratthetopofMountMunch,butfoundnoplaceinwhichtowritethesecretwordwhereothersmightnotbelikelytostumbleuponit.Sofinallyhedecideditmustbewrittensomewhereinhisownhouse.
BiniAruhadawifenamedMopsiAruwhowasfamousformakingfinehuckleberrypies,andhehadasonnamedKikiAruwhowasnotfamousatall.Hewasnotedasbeingcrossanddisagreeablebecausehewasnothappy,andhewasnothappybecausehewantedtogodownthemountainandvisitthebigworldbelowandhisfatherwouldnotlethim.NoonepaidanyattentiontoKikiAru,becausehedidn’tamounttoanything,anyway.
OnceayeartherewasafestivalonMountMunchwhichalltheHyupsattended.
