Thissecondpartofthejourney,whichwouldleadthedoctortowardtheeasterncoast,wouldenablehimtofinishcompletelythiscrossingofAfricafromthewesttotheeast.
AfterhavingvisitedthefamousVictoriaFalls,the"thunderingfoam,"DavidLivingstoneabandonedtheZambezitotakeanortheasterndirection.
