           “Ah!youarelookingfortheblack-puddings,mydearboy,”observedClare’smother.“ButIamsureyouwillnotminddoingwithoutthemasIamsureyourfatherandIshallnot,whenyouknowthereason.IsuggestedtohimthatweshouldtakeMrsCrick’skindpresenttothechildrenofthemanwhocanearnnothingjustnowbecauseofhisattacksofdeliriumtremens;andheagreedthatitwouldbeagreatpleasuretothem;sowedid.”

           “Ofcourse,”saidAngelcheerfully,lookingroundforthemead.
