           IfeltaconscientioussolicitudeforAdele’swelfareandprogress,andaquietlikingforherlittleself:justasIcherishedtowardsMrs.Fairfaxathankfulnessforherkindness,andapleasureinhersocietyproportionatetothetranquilregardshehadforme,andthemoderationofhermindandcharacter.
