Therewerecompositeconesandpyramidseitheraloneorsurmountingcylindersorcubesorflattertruncatedconesandpyramids,andoccasionalneedle-likespiresincuriousclustersoffive. Allofthesefebrilestructuresseemedknittogetherbytubularbridgescrossingfromonetotheotheratvariousdizzyheights,andtheimpliedscaleofthewholewasterrifyingandoppressiveinitssheergigantism.
