Wewereinfullflightbeforethreenotesorsyllableshadbeenuttered,thoughweknewthattheswiftnessoftheOldOneswouldenableanyscream-rousedandpursuingsurvivoroftheslaughtertoovertakeusinamomentifitreallywishedtodoso.
