Itwasatthismoment,whenoldWardleandSamWellerwereapproachingtheholewithcautioussteps,andMr.BenjaminAllenwasholdingahurriedconsultationwithMr.BobSawyerontheadvisabilityofbleedingthecompanygenerally,asanimprovinglittlebitofprofessionalpractice—itwasatthisverymoment,thataface,head,andshoulders,emergedfrombeneaththewater,anddisclosedthefeaturesandspectaclesofMr.Pickwick.
