           Allthiswasverysnugandpleasant.Andwhenthedifficultiesofthestilewereatlastsurmounted,andtheyoncemoreenteredontheopenfield,oldWardleinformedMr.Pickwickhowtheyhadallbeendowninabodytoinspectthefurnitureandfittings-upofthehouse,whichtheyoungcoupleweretotenant,aftertheChristmasholidays;atwhichcommunicationBellaandTrundlebothcolouredup,asredasthefatboyafterthetaproomfire;andtheyoungladywiththeblackeyesandthefurroundtheboots,whisperedsomethinginEmily’sear,andthenglancedarchlyatMr.Snodgrass;towhichEmilyrespondedthatshewasafoolishgirl,butturnedveryred,notwithstanding;andMr.Snodgrass,whowasasmodestasallgreatgeniusesusuallyare,feltthecrimsonrisingtothecrownofhishead,anddevoutlywished,intheinmostrecessesofhisownheart,thattheyoungladyaforesaid,withherblackeyes,andherarchness,andherbootswiththefurroundthetop,wereallcomfortablydepositedintheadjacentcounty.
