Praynote,allthiswasthefruitofadisturbedmind,animpatienttemper,made,asitwere,desperatebythelongcontinuanceofmytroubles,andthedisappointmentsIhadmetintheworkIhadbeenonboardof,andwhereIhadbeensoneartheobtainingwhatIsoearnestlylongedfor,viz., somebodytospeakto,andtolearnsomeknowledgefromtheplacewhereIwas,andoftheprobablemeansofmydeliverance. Isay,Iwasagitatedwhollybythesethoughts. Allmycalmofmind,inmyresignationtoProvidence,andwaitingtheissueofthedispositionsofHeaven,seemedtobesuspended; andIhad,asitwere,nopowertoturnmythoughtstoanythingbuttotheprojectofavoyagetothemain,whichcameuponmewithsuchforce,andsuchanimpetuosityofdesire,thatitwasnottoberesisted.
