Igotallthingsreadyashehaddirected,andwaitedthenextmorningwiththeboatwashedclean,herancientandpendantsout,andeverythingtoaccommodatehisguests; whenby-and-bymypatroncameonboardalone,andtoldmehisguestshadputoffgoingfromsomebusinessthatfellout, andorderedme,withthemanandboy,asusual,togooutwiththeboatandcatchthemsomefish,forthathisfriendsweretosupathishouse,andcommandedthatassoonasIgotsomefishIshouldbringithometohishouse; allwhichIpreparedtodo.
Thismomentmyformernotionsofdeliverancedartedintomythoughts,fornowIfoundIwaslikelytohavealittleshipatmycommand;andmymasterbeinggone,Ipreparedtofurnishmyself,notforfishingbusiness,butforavoyage; thoughIknewnot,neitherdidIsomuchasconsider,whitherIshouldsteer-anywheretogetoutofthatplacewasmydesire.
