TenminuteslaterlittleKotickdidnotrecognizehisfriendsanymore,fortheirskinswererippedofffromthenosetothehindflippers,whippedoffandthrowndownonthegroundinapile.ThatwasenoughforKotick.Heturnedandgalloped(asealcangallopveryswiftlyforashorttime)backtothesea;hislittlenewmustachebristlingwithhorror.
