           Butgodsareaccustomedtobeingobeyed,andGreyBeaverwrathfullylaunchedacanoeinpursuit.WhenheovertookWhiteFang,hereacheddownandbythenapeoftheneckliftedhimclearofthewater. Hedidnotdeposithimatonceinthebottomofthecanoe.Holdinghimsuspendedwithonehand,withtheotherhandheproceededtogivehimabeating.
