Hestudiedthenail-formation,andproddedthefinger-tips,nowsharply,andagainsoftly,gaugingthewhilethenerve-sensationsproduced. Itfascinatedhim,andhegrewsuddenlyfondofthissubtlefleshofhisthatworkedsobeautifullyandsmoothlyanddelicately.
