CaptainLenGuycastasternglanceuponthemenandsaidinasharptone:

CaptainLenGuythentookoffhishatandpronouncedthefollowingwordswithanemotionthataffectedustothebottomofourhearts:—

Theyallkneltdownontheicysurface,andthemurmursofprayerascendedtowardsheaven.
WewaitedforCaptainLenGuytorisebeforewedidso.
“Now,”heresumed,“afterthosewhoaredeadcomethosewhohavesurvived.TothemIsaythattheymustobeyme,whatevermyordersmaybe,andeveninourpresentsituationIshallnottolerateanyhesitationoropposition.
