           Shefoundherselfinasplendidhallthatwasmorebeautifulandgrandthananythingshehadeverbeheld.Theceilingswerecomposedofgreatarchesthatrosefaraboveherhead,andallthewallsandfloorswereofpolishedmarbleexquisitelytintedinmanycolors.Thickvelvetcarpetswereonthefloorandheavysilkendraperiescoveredthearchesleadingtothevariousroomsofthepalace.
