WhatpleasedButton-Brightmostaboutthedinnerwasthetinorchestrathatplayedsweetmusicwhilethecompanyate.Theplayerswerenottin,beingjustordinaryWinkies;buttheinstrumentstheyplayeduponwerealltin—tintrumpets,tinfiddles,tindrumsandcymbalsandflutesandhornsandall.Theyplayedsonicelythe"ShiningEmperorWaltz,"composedexpresslyinhonoroftheTinWoodmanbyMr.H.M.Wogglebug,T.E.,thatPollycouldnotresistdancingtoit.Aftershehadtastedafewdewdrops,freshlygatheredforher,shedancedgracefullytothemusicwhiletheothersfinishedtheirrepast;andwhenshewhirleduntilherfleecydraperiesofrainbowhuesenvelopedherlikeacloud,theTinWoodmanwassodelightedthatheclappedhistinhandsuntilthenoiseofthemdrownedthesoundofthecymbals.
Altogetheritwasamerrymeal,althoughPolychromeatelittleandthehostnothingatall.
