           GlindatheSorceressthensteppedupontheplatform,andbyhermagicmadeabigtreegrowinthemiddleofthespace,madeblossomsappearuponthetree,andmadetheblossomsbecomedeliciousfruitcalledtamornas,andsogreatwasthequantityoffruitproducedthatwhentheservantsclimbedthetreeandtosseditdowntothecrowd,therewasenoughtosatisfyeverypersonpresent.

           ParaBruin,therubberbear,climbedtoalimbofthebigtree,rolledhimselfintoaball,anddroppedtotheplatform,whenceheboundedupagaintothelimb.Herepeatedthisbouncingactseveraltimes,tothegreatdelightofallthechildrenpresent.Afterhehadfinished,andbowed,andreturnedtohisseat,Glindawavedherwandandthetreedisappeared;butitsfruitstillremainedtobeeaten.

           TheGoodWitchoftheNorthamusedthepeoplebytransformingtenstonesintotenbirds,thetenbirdsintotenlambs,andthetenlambsintotenlittlegirls,whogaveaprettydanceandwerethentransformedintotenstonesagain,justastheywereinthebeginning.

           JohnnyDooitnextcameontheplatformwithhistool-chest,andinafewminutesbuiltagreatflyingmachine;thenputhischestinthemachineandthewholethingflewawaytogether—Johnnyandall—afterhehadbidgood-byetothosepresentandthankedthePrincessforherhospitality.

           TheWizardthenannouncedthelastactofall,whichwasconsideredreallywonderful.
