Andthenwehadtodiscussanddecidewhatprovisionsweweretotake—compressedfoods,concentratedessences,steelcylinderscontainingreserveoxygen,anarrangementforremovingcarbonicacidandwastefromtheairandrestoringoxygenbymeansofsodiumperoxide,watercondensers,andsoforth.Irememberthelittleheaptheymadeinthecorner—tins,androlls,andboxes—convincinglymatter-of-fact.
