           “Therewediffer,Mary,”saidAnne.“IthinkLadyRussellwouldlikehim.Ithinkshewouldbesomuchpleasedwithhismind,thatshewouldverysoonseenodeficiencyinhismanner.”

           “SodoI,Anne,”saidCharles.“IamsureLadyRussellwouldlikehim.HeisjustLadyRussell’ssort.Givehimabook,andhewillreadalldaylong.”

           “Yes,thathewill!”exclaimedMary,tauntingly.“Hewillsitporingoverhisbook,andnotknowwhenapersonspeakstohim,orwhenonedrop’sone’sscissors,oranythingthathappens.DoyouthinkLadyRussellwouldlikethat?”
