           Theywereonlyconcernedthatthehousecouldaccommodatenomore;andyetperhaps,by“puttingthechildrenawayinthemaid’sroom,orswingingacotsomewhere,”theycouldhardlybeartothinkofnotfindingroomfortwoorthreebesides,supposingtheymightwishtostay;though,withregardtoanyattendanceonMissMusgrove,thereneednotbetheleastuneasinessinleavinghertoMrsHarville’scareentirely.MrsHarvillewasaveryexperiencednurse,andhernursery-maid,whohadlivedwithherlong,andgoneaboutwithhereverywhere,wasjustsuchanother.Betweenthesetwo,shecouldwantnopossibleattendancebydayornight.Andallthiswassaidwithatruthandsincerityoffeelingirresistible.

           “Wemustbedecided,andwithoutthelossofanotherminute.Everyminuteisvaluable.SomeonemustresolveonbeingoffforUppercrossinstantly.Musgrove,eitheryouorImustgo.”

           Charlesagreed,butdeclaredhisresolutionofnotgoingaway.
