Henrietta,consciousandashamed,andseeingnocousinCharleswalkingalonganypath,orleaningagainstanygate,wasreadytodoasMarywished;but“No!”saidCharlesMusgrove,and“No,no!”criedLouisamoreeagerly,andtakinghersisteraside,seemedtobearguingthematterwarmly.

Afteralittlesuccessionofthesesortofdebatesandconsultations,itwassettledbetweenCharlesandhistwosisters,thatheandHenriettashouldjustrundownforafewminutes,toseetheirauntandcousins,whiletherestofthepartywaitedforthematthetopofthehill.
