           AtthatcamefairElaineandweptandpiteouslymoanedtoseehimlyingso.AndwhenSirBorsandSirLavainecameback,shecalledthemtraitorstolethimrise,ortoknowanyrumourofthetournament.AnonthehermitreturnedandwaswrothtoseeSirLancelotrisen,butwithinawhileherecoveredhimfromhisswoonandstaunchedthewound.ThenSirLancelottoldhimhowhehadrisenofhisownwilltoassayhisstrengthforthetournament.ButthehermitbadhimrestandletSirBorsgoalone,forelsewouldhesorelyperilhislife.
