           SotheQueenplacedabigcrownofgold,setwithrubies,uponEvardo’shead,andthrewanerminerobeoverhisshoulders,andproclaimedhimKing;andhebowedgratefullytoallhissubjectsandthenwentawaytoseeifhecouldfindanycakeintheroyalpantry.

           OzmaofOzandherpeople,aswellasDorothy,TiktokandBillina,weresplendidlyentertainedbytheQueenmother,whoowedallherhappinesstotheirkindoffices;andthateveningtheyellowhenwaspubliclypresentedwithabeautifulnecklaceofpearlsandsapphires,asatokenofesteemfromthenewKing.
