Osterman,ubiquitousasever,resplendentinhisbootsandEnglishridingbreeches,movedaboutbetweenthegroups,keepingupanendlessflowoftalk,crackingjokes,winking,nudging,gesturing,puttinghistongueinhischeek,neveratalossforareply,playingthegoat.
