           “That’squiteanotherthing,”saidNorthWind;andasshespokeshegaveonespringfromtheroofofthehay-loft,andrushedupintotheclouds,withDiamondonherleftarmclosetoherheart.Andasifthecloudsknewshehadcome,theyburstintoafreshjubilationofthunderouslight.Forafewmoments,Diamondseemedtobeborneupthroughthedepthsofanoceanofdazzlingflame;thenext,thewindswerewrithingaroundhimlikeastormofserpents.Fortheywereinthemidstofthecloudsandmists,andtheyofcoursetooktheshapesofthewind,eddyingandwreathingandwhirlingandshootinganddashingaboutlikegreyandblackwater,sothatitwasasifthewinditselfhadtakenshape,andhesawthegreyandblackwindtossingandravingmostmadlyallabouthim.
