           Uponthe9thdayofMay,1711,oneJamesWelchcamedowntomycabin,andsaid,"hehadordersfromthecaptaintosetmeashore."Iexpostulatedwithhim,butinvain;neitherwouldhesomuchastellmewhotheirnewcaptainwas.
