           Bythetimehehadgivenallthisinformation,itwasnotunreasonabletosupposethatFannymightbelookedatandspokento;andshewastolerablyabletobearhiseye,andhearthathehadspenthalfanhourwithhissistertheeveningbeforehisleavingLondon;thatshehadsentherbestandkindestlove,buthadhadnotimeforwriting;thathethoughthimselfluckyinseeingMaryforevenhalfanhour,havingspentscarcelytwenty-fourhoursinLondon,afterhisreturnfromNorfolk,beforehesetoffagain;thathercousinEdmundwasintown,hadbeenintown,heunderstood,afewdays;thathehadnotseenhimhimself,butthathewaswell,hadleftthemallwellatMansfield,andwastodine,asyesterday,withtheFrasers.
