           Themeetingwasverysatisfactoryoneachside.MissCrawfordfoundasisterwithoutprecisenessorrusticity,asister’shusbandwholookedthegentleman,andahousecommodiousandwellfittedup;andMrs.Grantreceivedinthosewhomshehopedtolovebetterthaneverayoungmanandwomanofveryprepossessingappearance.MaryCrawfordwasremarkablypretty;Henry,thoughnothandsome,hadairandcountenance;themannersofbothwerelivelyandpleasant,andMrs.Grantimmediatelygavethemcreditforeverythingelse.Shewasdelightedwitheach,butMarywasherdearestobject;andhavingneverbeenabletogloryinbeautyofherown,shethoroughlyenjoyedthepowerofbeingproudofhersister’s.
