           Fanny,whohadhearditall,andborneEdmundcompanyineveryfeelingthroughoutthewhole,nowventuredtosay,inheranxietytosuggestsomecomfort,“Perhapstheymaynotbeabletofindanyplaytosuitthem.Yourbrother’stasteandyoursisters’seemverydifferent.”

           “Ihavenohopethere,Fanny.Iftheypersistinthescheme,theywillfindsomething.Ishallspeaktomysistersandtrytodissuadethem,andthatisallIcando.”

           “IshouldthinkmyauntNorriswouldbeonyourside.”
