           Ofcoursethiswasratherunsatisfactory.However,tomakeamendsheshowedthemhowtolieoutflatonastrongwindthatwasgoingtheirway,andthiswassuchapleasantchangethattheytrieditseveraltimesandfoundtheycouldsleepthuswithsecurity.Indeedtheywouldhavesleptlonger,butPetertiredquicklyofsleeping,andsoonhewouldcryinhiscaptainvoice,’Wegetoffhere.’Sowithoccasionaltiffs,butonthewholerollicking,theydrewneartheNeverland;foraftermanymoonstheydidreachit,and,whatismore,theyhadbeengoingprettystraightallthetime,notperhapssomuchowingtotheguidanceofPeterorTinkasbecausetheislandwasoutlookingforthem.Itisonlythusthatanyonemaysightthosemagicshores.

           ’Thereitis,’saidPetercalmly.

           ’Whereallthearrowsarepointing.’

           Indeedamilliongoldenarrowswerepointingouttheislandtothechildren,alldirectedbytheirfriendthesun,whowantedthemtobesureoftheirwaybeforeleavingthemforthenight.
