           Tomwasinattendance,andloiteredaboutuntiltheexpectedtraincamein.ItbroughtnoMr.Harthouse.Tomwaiteduntilthecrowdhaddispersed,andthebustlewasover;andthenreferredtoapostedlistoftrains,andtookcounselwithporters.Thatdone,hestrolledawayidly,stoppinginthestreetandlookingupitanddownit,andliftinghishatoffandputtingitonagain,andyawningandstretchinghimself,andexhibitingallthesymptomsofmortalwearinesstobeexpectedinonewhohadstilltowaituntilthenexttrainshouldcomein,anhourandfortyminuteshence.
