           LittleJackbegantosufferalittlefromthislifeinthewoods,towhichhewasnotaccustomed,andwhichwasbecomingverymonotonousforhim.Andthenallthepromiseswhichhadbeenmadehimhadnotbeenkept.Thecaoutchoucjumping-jacks,thehumming-birds,allthoseseemedconstantlytorecede.Therehadalsobeenaquestionofshowinghimthemostbeautifulparrotsintheworld,andtheyoughtnottobewantingintheserichforests.
