           IpromisedTraddlesthatheshouldhearDorasing,andseesomeofherflower-painting.Hesaidheshouldlikeitverymuch,andwewenthomearminarmingreatgoodhumouranddelight.IencouragedhimtotalkaboutSophy,ontheway;whichhedidwithalovingrelianceonherthatIverymuchadmired.IcomparedherinmymindwithDora,withconsiderableinwardsatisfaction;butIcandidlyadmittedtomyselfthatsheseemedtobeanexcellentkindofgirlforTraddles,too.

           Ofcoursemyauntwasimmediatelymadeacquaintedwiththesuccessfulissueoftheconference,andwithallthathadbeensaidanddoneinthecourseofit.
