           Intheafternoonofthenextday,myoldnurseandIwentdowntoGravesend.Wefoundtheshipintheriver,surroundedbyacrowdofboats;afavourablewindblowing;thesignalforsailingathermast-head.Ihiredaboatdirectly,andweputofftoher;andgettingthroughthelittlevortexofconfusionofwhichshewasthecentre,wentonboard.
