           Iaskedhimifheyetproposedtohimselfanytimeforgoingaway.

           ‘IwasdownattheDocksearlythismorning,sir,’hereturned,‘togetinformationconcerningofthemships.Inaboutsixweeksortwomonthsfromnow,there’llbeonesailingIseeherthismorningwentaboardandweshalltakeourpassageinher.
